Lucy POV
The next few days go by in the blink of an eye. I have been so incredibly busy getting everything ready for the party including nightly meetings with the Queen, Belinda, and a few other women that are in charge of various other aspects of the party. I’ve actually come to quite enjoy my time with the Queen. She’s not as icy and closed off as so many of us think. Another thing I’m thankful for is that Gina and Kara haven’t bothered me at all this week. I’ve run into each of them numerous times with all the running around I’ve been doing but neither of them have said anything to me. I’m not sure if it’s what the Queen said the last time we were in her office, or if Maddox had spoken to them, either way I was grateful, because I have enough going on this week without them piling on.
