“Hey where did you run off to?” Lucy asks as I walk back into my office.
“Just needed a little break, I asked some of the Omegas in the kitchen to put some food together for us, they’re going to bring it up soon.”
“Oh, um, okay,” she looks at the clock “are you sure we should be eating anything right now? Dinner is soon we’re supposed to meet Chad.”
“I think he can wait until tomorrow for our reunion dinner.”
She scowls at me, “that’s rude, please don’t be rude to him he’s done nothing wrong.”
“Fine that may be true, but we need to finish going through these files so dinner is off the table.”
