15 months agoI leaned back in the chair to see outside into the hallway, a team of nurses and Dr. Keller was right on their heels. Johan had coded for some unknown reason or maybe it was because he was starting to show signs of life again, either way I couldn’t let that happen. Even though he would be nothing more than waste of oxygen, I couldn’t risk it, no loose ends…speaking of which…I glanced at the time and realized I was running late.
“Excuse me.” I caught the new nurse by the arm. I knew she had just started working here last week. “Is the fella in room 3B going to be okay?”
