Chapter Twenty-Seven Jonah She disappeared into the office, and moments later, another detective joined them. The blinds that were drawn fluttered occasionally when someone moved, but I couldn’t see inside. I slowly moved my squeaky bucket forward and continued to mop closer to the door.
