But you proved me wrong. I was worried over nothing. My daughter would never do anything against my will, not so?he asked.

You are right dad, I can never do anything like that to you.

Perfect,he complimented me.

He apologized to me. He said he was very sorry where he went wrong. He said that while tears were running down his cheeks. I wept his tears off with the back of my hands.

It's okay dad, I can understand. You did all of this for our family's reputation and I know that to every leader,his reputation is the most precious thing.

Thanks for understanding me my daughter,dad said.

After that dad took me to show me the underground tunnel that he had constructed for escape in case of any wars and chaos in the empire.

We walked through the tunnel and ended up in the new location.

Where are we dad? I asked

We are outside the palace. I constructed this tunnel to help us escape from the palace in case any need for that arises.

Wow, this is a great idea. I complimented

We went back to the palace through the same tunnel.

It was already midnight and so dad told me he wanted to sleep since the next day was going to be a busy day for him.

He went to his room and so I did go to my room. I never wanted to marry the Prince nor get engaged with him.

What do I do now? I kept asking myself but couldn't come up with the solution.

I had to think of something before the sunrise.

Thinking of what to do, I recalled about the tunnel. It is going to be of a great use to me, I thought.

I packed my bags that same night. I decided not to sleep because I didn't want to waste any of my time or else my plans would be wasted.

I packed the most necessary things in my two small bags. I didn't want much luggage because I didn't want to leave any room for suspicion behind. And that too I didn't have someone to help me out..

I was used to seeing everything done for me but this time, I was going to do everything for myself. It wasn't easy for me but I knew I would get used to it with time.

I packed everything I knew was necessary for me. I chose simple and light clothes but I didn't want to take luxurious clothes which would make me look different from other ordinary people outside there.

I had bought simple clothes that I would wear when outside the palace.

I was ready for whatever would come my way.

I was determined to fight whoever tried to stop me from making my next planned move.

No one was in the tunnel when we passed through there. I believed some guards were not aware of that tunnel.
