It was my first time to come to the city.
Life in the city was so beautiful. I really liked everything I saw that day.
We bought the cellphones and then Linie hugged each one of us and took our leave.
We cried for a while when Linie waved a goodbye to us on her departure.
We had nowhere to go. We decided to just keep moving till we get tired but inside me, I was counting the houses as it was part of my mission.
As we kept on moving alongside the road, we met a very handsome young gentleman.
He was all dressed up in white. He was driving a fancy car.
Everyone could tell from his looks that he was from a wealthy family.
The gentleman stopped his car and asked us to get in the car for a lift.
We were all tired already but we didn't want to interact with a stranger.
"No thanks." We said
"Don't fear anything, I don't kidnap people nor do I eat them. Just get in the car."
"We are not going anywhere." I said
"What? I mean what do you mean by that." He said while smiling.
Oh his smile! His smile attracted me and I found myself getting in the car.
"Wait. What are you doing my lady?" Bella asked. But I just couldn't listen to her that moment.
Both of them did the same. And the gentleman drove off.
"Where are you going my lady?"the gentleman asked.
"My lady! What do you mean by that?"I asked too
"I just heard your fellow addressing you that way."he said
"Okay" I said
"So you are the princess, right?"he asked
"No am not one."I replied
"And why has she called you so?"he asked
"I will tell you later, first concentrate on driving as of now."I said
"Where would you like me to take you?"he asked again
"Anywhere you feel like."I said
"Strange! Everytime I ask this question, you come up with this same answer."
"It's because we really don't have where to go"
"So you mean to say that I take you wherever I want?"
"Exactly."I said
He drove quietly and stopped somewhere. It was already evening but Linie had not called us yet.
Maybe she was still busy taking care of mom.
I was really wondering what could have happened when they found that I was missing.
I thought of my poor mom. My great and strong woman I had ever known.
"She really must be worried about me."I thought.
"Let's go for coffee."the gentleman's voice interrupted me.
We went to the next coffee shop. As we were having coffee, my mind shifted back to what could be happening at home.
I got so much worried that I ended up breaking the cap I was using after being interrupted by the gentleman's voice again.
"What's wrong with you?"the gentleman asked.
"I am so sorry." I said and ran out of the coffee shop.
I was already missing home especially my mother. I ran and stopped at the car.
The gentleman came after me.
"Are you okay?"he asked
"I am fine don't worry."I replied
"Are you sure?"
"Yes,am fine."
We Bella and Jen came, I asked the gentleman to leave us and go home.
He said that he still wanted to be with us for a little longer and we had no problem with him being with us.
I wanted to speak to Bella and Jen in private so I asked him to give us some space.
He did as i asked him to.
I shared what I read from my grandpa's diary. I asked them to help me count the houses as we needed to find the 500th house from the palace.
"Okay our lady."they said.
"Don't call me that ever again." You will get us caught if you keep calling me that."
"Are you done with your private talk?"the gentleman asked.
"Yes we are done, you can now come closer." The guy came closer.
