I didn’t inform anyone before I left.
Not Jasper, his family members or the staff. not even the driver.
“I would want to drive myself today,” I said.
I would rather go alone than do anything that would raise eyebrows. This was not something I could afford to let anyone witness.
By the time I arrived at the clinic, it was quiet. Even the walls understood that I needed discretion.
