“When?”
“I will be having a busy day. I am actually on my way to work. I can branch right away. Hope you do not mind?”
“No. I do not.”
“Alright. Be right there.”
The line went dead.
Perfect. The game had started.
I lowered the phone slowly as I quickly dialled Joe.
“Hi, Quinn.”
“Yeah. There is a new development, and I want you to do something for me.”
“What is that?” he answered enthusiastically.
“Listen carefully. I just spoke with Seraphina on the phone. As we speak, she is on her way to the hotel.”
“What?” he shifted.
“Yeah. I called her and told her I am there.” I paused, “Look, this is not the time for long talks. Just go to Room 003. VIP Section. Wait for her to arrive.”
“What are you up to? And what do I say when she comes in to meet just me?”
