The ride back home was silent. I didn't bother uttering a single word as I turned to look out the window. Drogo didn't follow us. Fortunately he had come with his own car and had said something about having errands to run. I didn't bother to listen. Not that I cared. After the argument we had close to almost an hour. I wasn't so sure that I wanted anything with him or the both of them. I could feel Kane's gaze almost piercing into the back of my head but I ignored him and made sure that I focused my gaze mainly on the passing trees as I stared through the window.
