24 As Danton entered the clearing, Tarkyn strode up to him and roared in his face, “Where on earth have you been?” Danton recoiled, “I was scouting out the surroundings, Your Highness.” “Don’t lie to me, Danton,” snapped Tarkyn. “The lookouts reported you missing three hours ago.” Waterstone came up to Tarkyn and put a hand on his arm, “Tarkyn, what is wrong?
