“Obviously, the officers are Sargon and Andoran, aren’t they?” said Danton. “After all, the bandits we intercepted near the encampment mentioned Andoran. So, naturally, Sargon will be up to his neck in it too. It’s just the sort of underhand, devious activity they would relish. Tricking their fellow officers at the encampment and no doubt raking in an extra income for it.” He poked a stick viciously into the red coals of the fire. “We should have killed them while we had the chance, Stormaway.”
Stormaway shook his head, “No we shouldn’t have, Danton. We had a job to do. We had to make sure Golden Toad, Rushwind and Ibis Wings were safe first.”
