47 Falling Rain looked up from feeding his egret to find Autumn Leaves bearing down on him with the two new woodfolk in tow. “Hi Falling Rain,” said the heavy woodman as he sat down quietly next to him, “Twig Snap and Leaf Fall wanted to meet you.” Falling Rain looked a little askance at them and nodded briefly as they sat down. “She is a beautiful bird, isn’t she,” murmured Twig Snap. “Do you have a name for her?” Nothing Twig Snap said could have mellowed Falling Rain faster.
