Chapter 7: Love Bites

POV ROSE***

I look up at James who is moving my ring around my finger. "What are mates?" he sighs as he places my hands down on my lap. 

"Depending on how you put it, werewolves have soul mates that the "Moon Goddess" destine them to be with, and well vampires just feel a sort of connection towards someone and also feel little tingles or sparks as you put it". I give him a confused look as I shift awkwardly. 

"So you and I are soul mates?" he nods as he kisses my hand. "You and I are destined to be together, no man will ever touch you again". He said as his pupils dilated and pulled me closer. I place my hand on his neck and rub my thumb on his cheek. "Who said that?" I begin to smirk until his pupils completely cover his eyes. 

He grabs me by the hips and places me on his lap. "If any male ever touches you, or even fantasies about f*****g you. I will kill him in front you and overstimulate you to the point of tears, love please do not test me". He places his head between my shoulder blade and head, and begins to place kisses along my neck. I try to hold back a moan so that Joseph doesn't hear us. He grabs me by the throat and looks into my eyes. 

"Do not hold back what is mine or else I'll cane your ass until it's purple my little rose" I hold back a whimper as I feel my panties pool with my desire. I nod as he wraps his hand in my hair that has now fallen down. "Words don't make me ask again". I nod 

"Yes Master". He smirks as he continues to attack my neck with love bites. I begin to grind to create some friction for my need in my undergarments. He stops and grabs my hips to stop me from grinding "You really want me to f**k you in the back of a carriage? or can you be a good girl and want ten more minutes until we arrive at my estate". I nod as I try to get off his lap but he stops me. 

"No you're not going to get off of me I am not done here". he states as he continues to kiss along my neck. I whimper knowing it's going to be a long ten minutes.

As we arrive at the estate James quickly places me back into my seat, he looks at me and gives me a stern face. "When people ask who you are you are going to say my new personal maid". I give him a confused look. 

"How come?" he sighs, "My finance is home and we are expected to be married". My eyes widen as I feel my heart crack. "what?" I say as I try to scoot away from him. 

"I have to marry her but you can be my mistress and sneak in my room during the night". He said as he smiled and tried to kiss my hands. 

"Let go of me". He shakes his head. "I said let go of Me!". 

He releases my hands as I open the door before Joseph could. "I am not going to sneak around like I am some w***e! If you thought that I would ever do that you have been mistaken JAMES" I get out of the carriage as I am greeted by maids. James follows and directs the maids to show me to a room on the second floor of the estate, one floor below his. I smile as I bow to James and quickly thank him. 

I turn to the maids "Excuse me ladies but what are your names?" the older one in the middle answers. "I am Jane, the blonde young lady on my right is Caroline, and the one on my left is Elizabeth. Watch her she can be a b***h". She said as I tried to hold back my laugh. 

Elizabeth rolls her eyes "It's not my fault Charlotte is a brute" James looks at Elizabeth. "Watch your tone when you talk about my fiancé". I roll my eyes. 

"Could you be so kind, ladies, and show me to my room please?" they nod as I pick up my luggage before James tries to tell me to stop and I flip him off. "You're going to get punished for that later". He whispers to me. 

I laugh as I turn towards the ladies. As we walk into front of the house, I look around the giant entry. "Wow it's so beautiful". The house is decorated with neutral colors that make it look like a dark palace. "Come this way, miss,"Jane says. 

I quickly follow them up the stairs that ascend at the front of the house. As I walk up the stairs I look at all the paintings that look like they would have taken hours to make. As we get to the second floor we walk down the long dark hallway, at the end of the hallway is my room. As Janes opened it, I was surprised by what was behind the door. 

The room had cream color walls, along with two paintings, one of a man and women laying under a tree, in the autumn time. While the other one was of a beautiful rose, the quilt on the bed was a warm peach color.  Near the windows was a couch along with a bookshelf filled with many of the classic reads. I turn to my left and see a bathroom near the bed, I walk into the bathroom and see a mirror with a toilet, sink and bath. I gasp only the filthy rich could afford a toilet in the house along with a tub and sink. 

I turn to the ladies putting away my clothing in the wardrobe near the door. "Wait, please let me help you. I cannot let you ladies do all the work for me". Elizabeth laughs as Jane smiles. 

"Miss we certainly do get paid to do this. I hope you know". I smile as I sit on the bed. "I know it's just I feel very guilty so if you could allow me to do the rest". Jane nods as she excuses herself and motions the girls to leave with her.I sit on the bed and think about what has happened in the last 24 hours. 

The door opening interrupts my thoughts, I look towards the door and see James standing there with rage in his eyes. With his vampire speed he rushes towards me and grabs me by my throat and pushes me down into the comforter. "listen here you will never disrespect me like that again in front of my staff or so help me god I will leave you to rot in the basement for 6 months". I quickly nod agreeing with him as the darkness is my fear. 

He released my throat as he looked towards the window. "s**t" he mutters closing the blinds. "Charlotte is back here way too early you need to get dressed in your maid outfit now meet the girls in the kitchen and start preparing dinner for us then if you do everything correctly I will give you a reward for your good behavior". I laugh and stand up. 

"James I don't know who the hell you think you are but I am not going to serve you like I am your b***h. You cannot treat me one way then when we get here you change your mind completely". He smirks

"The only difference is you are my b***h and may I also add my immortal one at it, and Charlotte is a witch and I need her for a spell to enchant my house to ensure that anyone who isn't invited onto my property, and she isn't my fiancé we both like what is in between your legs". he says before he walks out. I begin to blush red as a tomato. 

I quickly get changed into my maid outfit and walk out of the room. I walk down the stairs towards the kitchen as I hear laughter coming from the dining room. I see Jane as she motions for me to walk towards her. "Ms Rose can you please set the table in the dining room, just place the plates how it is on the cart". I nod as I walk into the dinning room I meet with James' stormy grey eyes. I thought his eyes were a green hazel but they have completely changed to grey what is happening, I thought to myself as I walked towards him and placed a plate down along with a soup bowl and some utensils. I move on to the rest of the vampires and one witch.

I move the young lady with fire red hair, she smiles at me and quickly thanks me after playing her plates along with her utensils. I move on to the young blonde man next to James. He smirks at me as I place his plates down, I feel something sliding up the back of my leg as I drop the utensils on the floor. "Is she alway this clumsy James? It's obnoxious and rude that your maid didn't even apologize for making a scene". I roll my eyes as the blonde man shoots up from his chair and grabs me by the hair and looks into my eyes. I can feel my scalp stinging from the grip he has on my hair. 

He quickly winces and falls to the floor as the red haired girl chants something towards the blonde. He grabs his head and begs her to stop, the other vampire near the witch smacks her arm as the witch winces and stops. "what Raina he was being an ass for no reason''. she looks towards James who is standing near me. "And you 're your mate for god's sake and you're treating her like the mud under your shoes. If you ever get bored of him and want to have some real fun let me and Raina know we can show you a good time". She said as she turns and grabs Raina's hand and walks out of the room. 

I feel my cheeks heat up as the blonde stands. "You know when you said to be a d**k to her I thought I wouldn't get hurt you ass". He said before walking out. I turn towards James who stares at me like he's bored. I roll my eyes and walk out of the dining hall. 

If he wants to play this game, I can play it also. "Hey Charolette can you show me a wild night because James is boring and I wanna spice up my s*x life". I called out as I tried to walk up the stairs. I felt a breeze whip past me. I turn and James is standing behind me with very dark eyes ``what do you want, we both know you are not going to do s**t you've proved that after I flipped you off at the front of the house". 

He smirks as he picks me up and quickly runs up the stairs into his room. I am thrown on the bed he walks back to the door and slams it shut. He strides towards me and tells me the command that creates a heartbeat between my thighs.
