Lillith's POV
I'm making my way home in a haste to get out of this open area and to my, at least safer than being out here, home.. Especially before something else happens. It's too dark to really see anything coming with the cover of the trees and the pitch black sky that is riddled with stars that seem to be at all angles by how open the sky is out here.
I hear footsteps stomping behind me getting closer by the second. By how loud the stomping is I'm going to assume it's Garrett. I feel his arms wrap around my torso, stopping me in my tracks right away. "Garrett I don't want you to lose your job too.. so you need to go back to work please." I try to redirect him but he doesn't budge from my side.
