Chapter Two

1237 Words
Sofie's Pov Throwing my bag into the passenger seat of my car, I got in, started the ignition, and headed back home. Throwing my keys into the bowl, I headed straight for my work table. Opening up the drawer, I took out Cameron's card. One by one, I copied the numbers into my phone. Taking a deep breath, I dialed. After a two short rings, I heard a deep voice on the other end. "Hello". I tiptoed to the living room. "Miss Sofie". He called between his teeth. Like he was intentionally using his voice to mess with my head. "How did you know it was me?". Not that I needed to know. "Let's get straight to business Sofie". He waved off my question. Arrogant, but I truly didn't care at all. "Of course". If I'm being honest, he was doing me a favor. "Come to the EastView Hotel tonight. 9pm. I would send someone to pick you up and bring you to my apartment". My eyes dashed for the clock sitting on centre table. 8:06pm. That was enough time. "Do I call you when I arrive?". I got up, making my way to the bathroom. "Someone will be outside waiting to bring you up". He repeated, and I nodded. "See you soon". He continued, ending the call before I could respond. I scrambled around my room. What do I wear? Do I dress dinner sexy, or casual sexy? I took another deep breath, as I entered the shower. For the umpteenth time, I glanced at my watch again. 8:52pm. The GPS says I'm 5 minutes away. I should be there with a few minutes to spare. My GPS pinged as I slowly parked before a very large building. I had arrived. The name of the hotel was displayed in bold letters on the body of the building. It was beautiful and shiny. Cautiously, I stepped out of my car. Careful not to trip as I looked in awe at the magnificence of the building before me. Leaning on the body of my car, I observed the dignitaries that went in and came out of the hotel. A gentleman made his way towards me. Glancing at my watch again, 9pm, I smiled. Just on time. "Miss Sofie?". His voice was soft. A handsome young gentleman. "Yes, that's me". I couldn't stop myself from smiling. "I'd take your keys ma'am, your car would be safe". He was so polite. Handing the keys over to him, which he in turn handed to a valet boy. In minutes I watched someone else drive away with my car. "Please, follow me". If I was not here to see Cameron, I would not mind having a date with this man. I followed behind him silently as he took me to my date. The interior of the building was even more magnificent than the outside. From the corner of my eyes, I took notice of as much detail as I could. We stopped before an elevator, and he ushered me in. It was just us both in the elevator, my mind wondered about the many things we could do. Seeing that I entered first, he stood before me. My eyes drooled over him. I could tell he was hiding an amazing body behind the tux he had on. My thoughts were interrupted as he began taking steps backwards until we stood just beside each other. I could feel his eyes on me, as mine on him. We shared similar thoughts. I smiled inwardly. In seconds, I was picked up, and crashed against the back of the elevator. My legs wrapped firmly around his waist, our lips crashed into each other. His one hand found its way into the gown, it was a free gown with a long slit, it took him no effort to reach the top of my thighs. His second hand firmly against the elevator wall, supporting himself and I. My hands scrambled to take off his tux when the elevator bell rang. As fast as we began, even faster we stopped. Thankfully, you had to press a button for the doors to open. As the gentleman he was, he waited until I had arranged myself, giving him a short nod to signal I was done, before he opened up the doors. Leading the way once more, I walked behind him until we came before a door. The number 23 was on the door. He rang the bell, but there was no response. He rang it again, and almost immediately the door opened. "I was wondering if you had changed your mind Sofie". He had a sinister grin on his face as his eyes moved from mine, to the man who escorted me. "Leave Marco". His tone changed when his eyes found my escort. Taking a short bow, Marcos eyes found mine for a split second before disappearing down the hall. "Please, come in". He moved aside, allowing me passage into his apartment. My eyes moved in awe at the size of it. It was huge. For a man who lived by himself, he had a lot of space. "Can I interest you in a drink?". His voice distracted my eyes from their wondering. "Sweet red wine would do. Thank you". He gave a short nod. "Make yourself at home". His hands showed me where to sit. I sat, crossing my legs in a ladylike manner. Shortly, he joined me in the room. Handing me the glass of red wine, he took his seat directly opposite from me. "I see you and Marco couldn't keep your eyes off each other". He said after a short sip. I almost choked on my drink as my eyes dashed for his. There was no way he knew what had just happened in the elevator. "He was really gentle and nice. A respectful gentleman". I tried to cover up my initial shock. He let out a gentle laugh and got up, walking until he was behind the couch I was sitting on, and standing directly above me. He bent down on me, placing his lips close to my ears. "I know you both had some fun in that elevator". I could feel the smile on his face, as I froze on the spot. "I don't know what you're talking about". I wished the words did not come out in a stutter. "I'm sure you do Sofie". He whispered again, this time sending shivers down my spine. Just then I felt his fingers brush my hair backwards, exposing my neck. Suddenly the air in the room was not enough for me. "And I want in on some of the action". He whispered again, bringing his lips down on my neck. I wanted to move, but my limbs had given up on me. As he continued working his way down my neck, my eyes shut, and my brain stopped working. A sudden crash brought me back to reality, and my eyes flew open. The glass of wine had slipped out of my hand and hit the floor. It shattered into pieces. "I'm sorry". I whispered, unsure if he even heard me. "It happens all the time". He did hear me His eyes smiled at me. Placing his own glass on the table, he walked in my direction. "Come". He stretched out his hand to me. "Let's take this party somewhere more comfortable". His grin said it all.
