"Great! You're smart and thoughtful". Shulamite praised him, feeling like she'd won a lottery.
Theo on the other hand, just rolled his eyes at her.
"Which day?" He asked curiously.
"Tomorrow!" Shulamite informed excitedly. "I'm busy today"
"Okay" Theo nodded, before getting up from the sofa. "Please excuse me, I have some works to do" He informed Shulamite. He just couldn't wait to disappear from her presence.
"Go ahead" Shulamite said. Apparently, her plan had worked, and her happiness was vivid on he gorgeous face.
Even after some minutes had passed since Theo left her office, she continued to stare at the door. She was missing him so much and it's becoming unbearable to maintain her calm around him.
Oh, how she wished that things were more simple between them.
