        I woke up in a bed again, despite the fact I most definitely didn’t fall asleep in one. I tried to get up and eventually succeeded, but my body felt like it weighed ten times more than before and it was resisting even the slightest movements as if I was trying to walk underwater. I tore the bandage on my hand to find the skin completely healed, but there was still a dark purple bruise around the space the needle was in.         I made my way to the door, leaning on the wall for support and gritting my teeth in annoyance. I could not sense anybody upstairs, so I hurried to Caleb’s room only to find it empty.
