After eating breakfast, shopping for a leash for Orion, and doing their laundry Wednesday morning, Ansel and Hugh packed and took off to pick up Hugh’s car. Much to Hugh’s obvious relief, when they got to the campground the car was still parked where he’d left it. Snow-covered and dead, since it had been sitting for so long, but with a jump from Ansel’s car, they were able to get it started. “I’ll follow you down,” Ansel said. “Are we going straight to your father’s house? Never mind, he’s probably at work.” “Yeah. I’m debating whether to talk to him there or at home.” “I’d say home would be better. No interruptions.
