Chapter 5
“Okay, let’s get some sleep and hope we hear something before morning.” Colt looked at Coop’s worried face. “His best friend Mikey was there throughout his transition to a new school, and they have always been close,” Colt whispered to Dean. “We’ll find him, Coop.” Colt gave Coop a quick squeeze and pointed to his sleeping bag. “Let’s get some wood on the fire and get set up for some sleep.”
Coop went to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
When they heard the door shut, Dean turned to Colt, grabbing Colt’s hand in his own. “I’ll go with you in the morning and search for the boys, more eyes and all that.”
