Chapter 6
The phone rang, and Coop shut the radio off as they pulled back into the garage after finishing up the last of the plowing. The driveway looked good, and they both hoped it made Colt happy to have this chore done when he came home. Dean couldn’t believe how much snow dumped on them in such a short period of time. Coop climbed out of the truck and ran toward the house.
“Colt?”
“Yeah, how’s it going there? It sounds like my truck idling.”
“Coop wanted to surprise you. We plowed the drive so when you got home, you didn’t have to worry about it.”
Dean smiled when Colt responded with, “I love that kid.”
“Find anything new?” Dean inquired, wanting some information before Coop came back. He started walking towards the house when he heard a loud shriek.
