So the inquest’s over and we won. It was almost worth the bashing to get rid of Phillips.
You probably know everything by now. I wrote this letter as soon as I could after I found out the verdict so you’d know the details.
I was called in first to give my account. There were five people sitting around the governor’s table. There was McKenny, a visiting justice by the name of Roberts, Worth, who is some kind of union representative, and a couple of other blokes—I didn’t really know why they were there.
