Dear Uncle Peter,
Thank you for your letter. I’ve been busy, too. In answer to your question, the course is two years, and yes, I’m now exactly halfway through. I’m on a break at the moment. College goes back in August. As usual, I’m reading ahead. I’m finding the course much easier now I know what’s what. I learn more on the job than from the books, which is why they give you the practical experience, I reckon.
I think I might get a parole hearing either at the end of the year or early next year. I’m so happy. Maybe I’ll come and stay with you and Aunty Margaret. I can’t wait.
