The "Sowing of the Discord" had been a success, but it had behaved more like a wildfire than a garden. Within a few short decades of Thal’s return from the Edge-Worlds, the "Great Polyphony" had matured into the "Era of the Prism." Humanity was no longer a single, unified consciousness, nor was it a collection of isolated individuals. It had become a kaleidoscopic society where "Sub-Resonances" formed groups of people who shared specific dreams, philosophies, or artistic frequencies.
But at the heart of the Earth, in the ancient DUMBO warehouse, a new phenomenon was occurring. The "Resonance" was starting to pull toward a single, localized point. It wasn’t the gravitational pull of a black hole, but a "Temporal Anchor."
