Brea
Pain exploded through Brea’s stomach, and she shot up in bed. She’d taken to napping during the day, and today was the biggest day of all. She needed her rest.
But someone else wasn’t having it.
“Kicking isn’t nice.” She put a hand on her stomach, a smile flitting over her tired face.
The door to the room opened, and Brea sprang from the bed. “Myles!” She rushed for her friend, laughing as her growing belly got in the way.
“Um, Brea.” His eyes widened. “I think you have a growth.”
“So funny, Myles. You should take up comedy.”
