My eyes flew open.
When I saw Kael staring back at me, I suddenly shut it again. A soft chuckle escaped his lips.
"I saw you, Althea," he breathed and I could hear the amusement in his voice.
I became aware of myself. I was in bed with him. I was about to question myself about last night when the memories all came back. He has insisted that he held me all through the night and I had no choice but to let him.
I slowly opened my eyes and they fell on his amber orbs. He blinked and my eyes flickered to his lips. He was smiling at me and I suddenly blushed like the i***t that I was.
Then I let out a shudder before parting my lips even wider to speak. "How do you feel now?" I asked.
His smile grew wider. "Better," he whispered. "It's all thanks to you."
"I'm glad," I mutter
