Her scream rang out through the woods.
My heart sank as a thousand thoughts entered my head. None of them had a good scenario in them. They all screamed danger.
The rest of the girls in the water turned to me fearfully and I realized that I was the only leading figure they could look up to.
"That was Sarah," a girl muttered in a frightened voice.
I got out of the water immediately, not caring that I was still naked. "She'll be fine," I assured her.
