C H A P T E R V- Saved

We have officially been here for about four weeks! And I wanna go back to Arizona, Arizona is home.

I sigh and throw on my running gear, that consist of my white Nike sports bra, covered by my aqua blue Nike sweatshirt, my Nike pro black shorts and my aqua blue Nike tennis shoes.

After throwing my hair up into a messy bun I jog down the stairs and to the kitchen where my mom is located.

"Where are you going missy?" she asked as I jogged in the room.

"Out Jogging," I said grabbing my water bottle.

"Ok," she said looking at the time on her phone, "It's 12:31 be back by 1:20 Alpha Damitri will be here at 2:30," I nod then I'm off.

I found this wonder full path and it leads me all the way out to a small beach, not many people are ever there so I like to think of it as my own personal beach. I start to slow as I go through the bushes and get to the other side.

It's absolutely breath taking, as if seeing it for the first time. There's only one other person here reclined back on a beach towel, with papers spread around them and a laptop in the middle of it all. I start making my way towards them. Once I come up to him I can't believe who it is.

"Xzavier, what are you doing here?" I asked and he looked up.

"Kimberly," he said almost stunned. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the sand next to him.

"Yes, it is I princess Kimberly," I said with dramatic effect and throwing my hands in the air. He chuckled.

"Well princess I will inform you that I am here with my little sister she insisted on coming," He said emphasizing princess. My heart fluttered then I started looking around.

"Ok, genius but where is she?" I asked.

"She's right over th--" He cut off mid sentence the stood up looking around. "EMILY!" He started yelling.

"Oh joy you done lost a child," I said standing up and brushing off my butt. He looks at me.

"Don't just stand there help me find her!" He snapped and I rolled my eyes as he called out EMILY again.

I started looking for the eight year old to occasionally yelling her name. I looked all around, but still no Emily. I tuned in using my werewolf hearing and heard a yelp, somewhere out in the water. I used my werewolf vision and looked around.

"Xzavier there!" I yelled while throwing off my sweat shirt and shoes.

"Where!" he yelled.

"There!" I yelled pointing out into the ocean. I then dived in and swam out. I grabbed Emily's small body and she clung to me shivering. I swam back to shore throwing my self on my back once I get there and Emily is still clinging to me once I get up.

"Oh my gosh Emily you scared me!" Xzavier said grabbing the eight year old from me.

"I scared my self to Zay Zay," She said panting.

"Thank you so much Kimberly, without you I don't know what I would've done," I gave him a thumbs up.

"No problem," I said panting while getting up.

"Can we go get ice cream Zay Zay?" Emily asked him still shivering.

"Sure let me just grab our stuff then we can go to the ice cream parlor," Emily then looked at me while Xzavier went to grab his stuff.

"Will you come to Kimmy?" She asked me.

"Sure why not," I said while throwing my jacket over my head. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and took a picture of the view then a of Emily playing in the sand. I swear she is too adorable for her own good.

"Ok lets go," Xzavier said after a while.

"Zay Zay, Kimmy's coming with us," Emily said while walking towards the bushes. Xzavier nods.

"Did you bring her a bathing suit cover?" I asked.

"No, why would I do that?" He asked. I shook my head.

"Lets go by your house and I will let her borrow the smallest thing I have," He nods.

"Emily we're gonna take a pit stop ok princess?" She nods and starts walking in the opposite direction we follow behind her. "You know it's your home to right?" Xzavier asked me.

"Not for long I turn eighteen in a few months, and then I get to go back home," He nods. Once we get to the house Xzavier seems a little spaced out, meaning he just got a mind-Link. I take Emily up to my room and find her a sweat size Extra Small. It still fits her big, but I think she looks adorable in it. I grab my camera and tell her to Strike a pose she turns around, puts her hands down by her side, and kinda turns towards me smiling.

Wow, this little girl is gonna become a model in the future.

"Kimberly, your mother is fixing to make cookies, and I gotta run into town real quick, do you mind watching Emily for me?" Xzavier said walking into my room.

"Umm, sure,"I really had no choice but to watch the little sweetheart.

"Thank you, and," He bent down to Emily's level. "I promise to make it up to you," He said ruffling her hair.

"Ok Zay Zay," he stands up and without another word he leaves.

"So, little duckling you want to go downstairs and make cookies with my mother?" I asked staring down at the eight year old. To be honest I've never babysat before. Before, I had a life. A life, oh no I almost forgot about our old alpha and Zache are visiting today! I looked at the clock it's 1:10!

"Nahh can we stay up here and watch movies," I nod my head and pull out my movies box.

"Ok pick a movie from here and I'll put it on." She picks the Lion King. One of my favorite movies. After, putting the movies on I tell her I'm going to go take a shower. She nods her head digging through my stash of candy.

Hopping in the shower I rinse off all the salt water and scrub my hair doing the regular routine. I hop out the shower wrap my hair in a towel, and the wrap my body up I walk to my sink turning on the hot water I start brushing my teeth and rinse off my face one last time.

I walk to the door that is connected to my walk-in closet, I throw on a black skirt that goes mid thigh and a black and white striped long sleeve shirt that stopped just below my belly button. After, putting on my black high top converse I walk out the closet and take the towel off my head.

"Your mom said the guest have arrived and for you to come downstairs as soon as possible," Emily said with a mouth full of chocolate. I laughed.

"Ok," I brushed through my hair then braid it into a side braid. Emily watched me the whole time.

"Can you braid my hair?" She asked coming over to me.

"Sure little duck," I tell her to sit at the edge of the bed and to turn sideways

After doing two boxer braids, she goes back to watching the movie, and I do my makeup.

"ok, little duck, I'm going downstairs if you need me just come and get me, ok?" She nods pouring a whole bag of skittles in her mouth. I shake my head then head out the door.

"Well I thought my fiance would be here by now, but he said he got caught up in something," I heard my mother's voice from down below. "My daughter should be down any minute now," She said and just as predicted I walked down from the stairs and into the living room.

"Kim!" I looked at the sight of my best friend and boyfriend sitting on the couch.

"Omg Kitty!" I screamed jumping up and down. Katherine Aka Kitty is my best friend from back home.

"You haven't called me! I thought something bad had happened to you," She said coming over to hug me.

"I'm sorry I jumped in the water and had my phone in my pocket it's been in rice for a while," I said squeezing her tiny frame in my arms.

Next Zache greeted me with a kiss. But, no spark no nothing. I feel absolutely nothing. And it felt kinda wrong.

"I've missed you babe," He said breaking away from our kiss and giving me a big hug.

"I missed you more," I muttered. Then I heard the pitter-patter of small feet. Emily came up behind me kinda hiding behind my legs.

"Who's this?" Kitty said.

"This, is Emily," I said revealing the chocolate covered girl

"Well Emily, Hi, I'm Kitty," Said my best friend bending down to the girls level. She's always loved children. Emily ran over to her and threw her hands round her neck giving her a hug. Kitty stands up the girl still attached to her neck and twirls around while holding her.

"Wow," is all Zache said before turning back to me. "So, who's child is she," He said.

"She would be my sister," A husky voice says from the door. Xzavier was dripping wet. He shook off. "Excuse me, but it's pouring outside," He smiled. "A totally unexpected event."

"Alpha Xzavier," My old Alpha, Alpha Dmitri, bowed in respect. He may be an alpha, but Xzavier clearly has more power here having one of the biggest packs in north america, and being in his territory.

"This must be Alpha Dmitri, what a pleasure to finally meet you. Even tho I was planning to meet you at the border, but things happen in unsuspecting ways," His eyes made there way over to mine and I looked away quickly. Then he made his way over to my mother sitting down next to her. Emily jumped in his lap.

"Kim, dear, be a dear and go get Zay a towel," I nod and make my ways out into the hallway and to the closet where we store some of our towels. I grab a fluffy white towel then make my way back towards the living room. I handed Xzavier the towel.

"Thanks," He says with a smile that makes his eyes seem to glow. I nod, I don't like this new found attraction.
