Chapter 26– Oh, that?
Ryker's POV
I was on the run away from my pack— my mate who had gotten the pack to turn against my family.
The words couldn't get away from my head. I rolled and rolled on the bed until it was morning when I had finally managed to get some sleep.
I didn't know when I had woken up but I was glad I had managed to get some sleep at last even though it meant missing the morning training with the pack warriors.
I was surprised at how quiet the pack house was. I didn't dare to go to my chambers last night after I heard what Rowena told me. I couldn't even do that. I had maltreated her, I had treated her like her f*****g ex mate. I was no different from him.
