Aiden’s Pov
It was past afternoon. I had just finished having a long productive meeting with Fred and some of our top warriors. We were reviewing the security around the borders, checking for weaknesses in the territory or any rogue sightings and activity. Thankfully, there wasn’t. Everything had been quiet for days. No sign of threats or unusual movements.
But even with that good news, I wasn’t feeling complete. Something just didn’t feel right. I had this strange emptiness in my heart and I knew why. I hadn’t seen Rose all day. Not even a glimpse of her.
It didn’t feel right not having her around especially after what had happened lately. I just wanted to see her, hear her voice, make sure she was okay.
