“Baby, my love, wake up.” I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder as I slowly fluttered my eyes open. My eyes landed on Caine and I slowly sat up, letting out a yawn, my body still heavy.
He sat by my side as he held my arm, gently. “It’s time my love.” He said, pointing at the wall clock. Still feeling sleepy, I nodded.
