Cassandra’s Pov
“Fortunately, it’s midnight already and no one is going to see us. I’ll take you somewhere that will solve all of our problems.” Caine said in a low tone.
My heart kept beating as I nodded. I did not know where he planned to take me but the way he said it made me scared and also curious. He picked two long black robes from his wardrobe with hoods attached to them. The robes were very heavy and strange. The black color made it look even scarier like the ones villains usually wore.
He handed one to me. “Wear this.”
We both put them on quickly and zipped them up. I pulled the hood up to cover my head and face. I could feel that whatever we were about to do wasn’t ordinary. My palms were already soaked in sweat.
Together, we sneaked out of the castle using the back door. E
