Rose’s Pov
I could feel my whole body shutting down. My legs and chest were shaking and weak. Every muscle inside my body was screaming for rest. I was trying my best to breathe and I knew that with the way I was feeling, if Gabriel had hit me one more time, I would drop dead right there. I tried to raise my hands to defend myself but they were trembling as if I was carrying something heavy.
A part of me just wanted to quit and end all of these. It was of no use continuing because my pride, strength and spirit were all slipping away. I didn’t care what the crowd would say or how they would react when I hit my palm on the ground as a sign of surrender. All I wanted was to leave.
