Cassandra’s Pov
My head felt very heavy. I let out a soft groan as I felt a very sharp pain move by my temple. I tried to open my eyes but they were very heavy. When I finally opened my eyes, everything looked so blurry. I couldn’t tell where I was.
I blinked several times, hoping my vision would get cleared and slowly looked around. I wasn’t in my wedding hall anymore. Everything was gone. The wedding hall, the people’s cheers, the bright lights, all vanished. The whole place was smelling of disinfectant and medication. Then I realized where I was. The infirmary.
