Henry’s Pov
I had targeted the hare and shot it dead with my spear. “Perfect!” I remarked, proud of myself. I picked it up and began to head home. Initially, my plan was to go straight to the palace, but I remembered that the crystal spring’s path was closer. That way, I could save time.
The crystal spring was a very beautiful and quiet place. Whenever the sunlight touched it, the water sparkled like lots of diamonds were floating on the surface. But as much as it was lovely, it was hell dangerous, especially in a time like this when rogues had started attacking the pack. No one normally came here alone, especially she-wolves.
Just as I was passing by the crystal spring, I spotted someone there, sitting on the bare ground, close to the water. I thought my eyes were just playing pranks
