"I know, Mom!" Hannah's face turned grim. As she walked into the living room, she saw Leopold lounging on the sofa, smoking with his legs crossed.
She couldn't help but say angrily, "Uncle Leopold, there are still two months left until my family assessment. Why do you have to come here and force a marriage on me?"
Leopold frowned. "What do you mean forcing a marriage on you? I'm doing this for your own good! Your father passed away early. I want to find you a good husband so you and your mother can have a better life. Olivia, look at how you've spoiled Hannah. She has become a willful girl!"
Under Leopold's harsh scolding, Olivia nodded meekly, "Sorry, Leopold. It's my fault."
"Mom!" Hannah, disappointed and angry, exclaimed, "Why are you apologizing to him?"
