Chase’s lips remained pressed in a thin line and his jaw tense. The way we stared at each other in silence, made me rethink my coming here and saying what I had just said. “We did make a deal and I won the game fair and square. So I thought that it would only be fair if I got my three wishes granted from you,” I explained, knowing very well that there was a very big chance that I was just making things worse.
