Unlike other nights, Chase and I went straight up to our rooms without saying much to the other person. We had already had quite a chaotic dinner and there was no need for our usual meetup at the dining table by that hour.
My mind was still reeling from the conversation I had had with Chase in the car earlier and while my mind knew that it was time to forget all about it and focus on getting some good night's sleep, my body didn't seem to concur.
I will never get tired of waiting and whenever I feel it getting too much, I resort to other means. Means that will ensure my faithfulness to you and also, ensure that I can wait just a little longer.
