After a moment of contemplation, he shook his head firmly. “No.” I would have been lying if I said that I didn’t see that reply coming from a mile away. I thought that somehow and someway if I followed Chase to his doctor’s appointments, then maybe I could understand his disability and try to help him, but I guess that that wasn’t going to be happening.
