1067 Words
''So,'' Aiden said as he placed me on my feet, ''Casey said you were going to study. However, I am taking the day off, and thought we could spend some proper time together.'' ''We could spend some time together right here.'' I patted my bed. ''Ava, go have a cold shower.'' Casey ordered as she sat down and started pulling on her shoes. ''Ava, my sunshine, we have been over this.'' ''I know, I know.'' I waved my hand grumpily, ''Wait till the wedding night.'' I said sarcastically, and he laughed. ''Behave, and put on your cloaks, it's cold out today,'' He ordered. ''Where are we going?'' Casey asked as she picked up her black cloak, and I exhaled, grabbed it, and tossed it aside, before passing her, a pretty blue one that matched the dress she had on. ''The hidden valley.'' Aiden answered as Casidy glared at me, but put on the cloak. ''But we have to fly there,'' I said excitedly, ''You hardly ever let us fly.'' ''You're only allowed to fly with me, now come on.'' He held out his hand. I squealed in excitement, but Casey looked scared. ''I will never drop you, Casey, trust me.'' Casidy took a breath and placed her hand in his, and together we left the suite. We traveled to the base of the mountain together, chatting and making jokes. I loved being allowed to show my affection to him, I loved being allowed to touch him. I hated having to hide my feelings over the years, but now he was mine! When we stopped, he told us to wait while he went behind a tree to undress and shift, but when I tried to peek, Casidy grabbed my shoulders and force me to look away. When we heard loud footsteps, we turned and Casidy walked over and picked up his clothing, while I ran my hands over his thick scales that glittered in the light. Aiden blew warm smoke over our skin, and I moaned happily in the heat, before he laid down. I climbed onto his back first, before Casidy passed me his clothing and nervously climbed onto his back beside me. ''Don't be afraid, he'll never drop us.'' I kissed her on the cheek. Aiden rose to his feet, stretching out his large wings, flapping them for a second, and in an instant, we were soaring through the sky. I squealed excitedly, but Casey pressed her face into his back, holding onto his spikes along his shoulders. The wind whipped through our hair, and my laughter filled the air. ''Casey, are you a Dragon or a dog?'' I asked her, Lycan's hated heights, ''Sit up and enjoy the wind.'' ''Shut up and leave me alone!'' She snapped at me, but I laughed and rolled my eyes. ''Scaredy pup!'' Below us, the world looked like a patchwork quilt of colors. Aiden soared over the tree's and large river, before he started going lower. After our thrilling flight, we landed in a hidden valley filled with flowers and sparkling streams. It was like a scene from a dream. Casidy scrambled off our mate instantly, her legs shaking as she sat down, breathing hard. While I slipped down, a little more gracefully and placed Aiden's clothing on a rock, before walking back to Casey to comfort her. ''Get up, you're fine,'' I giggled, ''What Dragon is afraid to fly?'' ''You wouldn't say that if you'd seen my vision!'' ''Aiden would never let you fall.'' I took her face in my hands, and kissed her forehead, ''Calm down.'' ''Are you both okay?'' Aiden asked, and I turned and pouted when I saw he was already dressed again. ''She looks like she's going to throw up, but she'll be fine.'' I answered, as Casey glared at me again. ''My sweet moonlight.'' Aiden touched her face, ''Do you really think I'd let you get hurt?'' Casidy blushed and shook her head, and I smirked as I wrapped my arms around her and looked at Aiden. ''So. Why did you want to bring us here, all alone?'' I questioned his intentions. ''Have you changed your mind about us being together?'' Aiden shook his head, ''Behave, I just wanted to spend time with you both, away from the thunder, and all the obligations of being a King, or Celestials, now come on. Let's explore. You've never been here.'' We spent hours exploring, picking flowers, and sharing stories. Aiden made us laugh with tales of his adventures he'd embarked on over his 300 years, and we shared our own, feeling the bond grow even stronger. When we got hungry, Aiden flew off and came back with a dead deer, that he cooked for us, but as the sun began to set, a shadow fell over our joy when he announced we needed to return home. ''I don't want to go back,'' Casidy pouted. ''You just don't want to fly again,'' I teased her, ''Come on, we have to go back, look.'' I pointed to the sky, ''It's going to rain.'' She nodded, and turned us around, so Aiden could undress again. He flew us home, and as we reached the door of our suite, the storm hit. ''Thank you for today,'' Casidy smiled at him, once we were in our suite, where nanny was placing some laundry in our walk-in, ''It was wonderful.'' ''I'm glad you enjoyed yourself.'' ''Can we go out again tomorrow?'' I asked. Aiden laughed and shook his head, ''I have to work, but I will make sure that going forward, to always spend one day a week with the two of you.'' ''Two days,'' I countered. ''We'll see,'' He smiled and pulled me into his arms, and kissed me. I was breathless by the time he stepped back, and reached of Casey, who to my delight, didn't hesitate. She kissed him passionately and I smiled. I was thrilled she was really giving him a chance. ''Adien, can't you stay the night again?'' I pleaded, with my cutest pout, ''You can stay in my bed again.'' Nanny gave an annoyed growl, and Aiden laughed, ''Sorry, nanny, won't allow me.'' ''You're King,'' I pointed out. ''Not even I can go against nanny,'' He joked, and turned towards the door, ''Make sure they have a hot bath, they spend the day in the cold.'' ''Yes, your majesty,'' Nanny called back as he left.''
