Ayra’s POV • • “I’m not going,” I said flatly, folding my arms across my chest. Ava raised a perfectly arched brow. “Excuse me?” “I changed my mind.” “Hello! We didn’t just spend an hour turning you from depressed Cinderella to baddie Barbie for you to back out now.” “I don’t feel like going anywhere, Ava.” I noticed the look she gave me and I let out a groan then grits out. “Fine Miss” Ava smile, then got up and tapped me lightly on the head like I was a child. “That’s more like it, my bitchy boss,” she said with a grin. I gave her a you’re such a fool look. She only shrugged and turned back to the mirror, applying her own makeup with exaggerated care. Her strokes were smooth, confident. She curled her lashes and fluffed her hair until it fell in waves. Damn, Ava was beautiful
