We spent hours helping Brenda not have a panic attack. Given what she went through during the Gulf War, I'm not surprised that she went into survival mode, but once the adrenaline wore off, she began to zone in on the horror of what we had faced.
James had been kind enough to help Brenda through her flashbacks and endure all of her questions. For some reason, she went into full mother mode. The only time I had ever seen her act like this was when Trey first introduced us. She had been very protective of her son, and now it appears she is the same way with me and Lexi.
