Chapter Three Ruth bit her lip, her eyes moving from the gun she had pulled out of her purse to the truck she was following. She couldn’t decide if she was crazy or suicidal. Still, if there was even the remotest chance of finding her brother, she’d take the risk. She reached into her back pocket and pulled out the card that Tonya Maitland had given her this morning. Holding it between her fingers, she looked back and forth between the card and the road. Still anxiously biting her lip, she switched the card to her other hand and reached for her phone.
