“According to the inventory list, that is everything,” Ruth called out to Dapier, Ashure’s acquisitions agent aboard his ship.
“Except for three cases of the finest, most magical brandy ever produced by the best craftsmen in the Seven Kingdoms,” Ashure added under his breath.
“Consider it a restocking fee,” Ruth lightly quipped.
“Restocking! Koorgan was the one who had everything taken off in the first place,” Ashure argued.
“And he can do it again,” Koorgan threatened as he walked along the dock. “Or better yet, he can take the whole damn ship, give you the rowboat, and send you and your men on their merry way.”
