Samantha, who was in the kitchen with Clara and eavesdropping on the conversation, sighed and went to serve her meal when she saw that Damian was not yet leaving her father's house.
"Is it safe to go out there?" Clara asked Samantha as she served her meal, afraid of what was going on.
The moment Samantha had run into the kitchen had startled Clara.
"Yes. Well, I don't know, but you can choose to remain here for your own safety," Samantha advised Clara, who nodded.
Clara was scared and wondering if she should continue working for the household, but then, the payment was high, and she didn't want to quit her job yet.
