Jonathan got into his black car with his assistant, Sergeant Brown, who asked him, "What do you plan to do to help your lover? You know the T-Group is very dangerous, and we've been looking for evidence for a long time with no success. They are very smart and vigilant. Why would your girlfriend's father get himself entangled in a business dealing with Damian Tucker? I'm sad, but I see no help coming their way." "Don't say that nonsense, Brown. Damian is getting on our nerves, and as officers of the law, we must apprehend him and hand him over to the government," Jonathan replied. "I know... but how do you intend to do that? Your father tried to get Damian's father behind bars but failed. Now you want to risk your life to fight with the devil. He has the higher-ups backing him. So I'm suggesting you wash your hands off this case and help raise the money. That's if Damian doesn't come for her, as I can see that she is beautiful and the kind of woman he messes with." "Don't you dare say that crap to me!" Jonathan growled as he grasped Brown's shirt. "I will kill Damian before he gets his hands on my woman. Start the car, we are heading back to the police station to report the case," Jonathan insisted, and Brown sighed. "Alright." Brown started the car and drove off to the police station in North Wind Town. ----- In a luxury white estate, three black cars arrived and parked on the grounds. "Bring Mr. Max out and take him to the cell," Damian ordered his men as he left them and went to his mansion. Earlier, Damian had received a phone call from his father stating that it was urgent and that he was at home. Damian walked ahead to his mansion, and the men in black working for him and guarding the mansion bowed and welcomed him. They had already escorted Mr. Max to the cell they built to lock up their prisoners. It was a simple, dark room, built like a boy's quarter apartment at the back of the mansion. It was isolated from the main house, so the men in black bundled Mr. Max away like a criminal and threw him into the room. They locked the door and left him. "Shout all you want. There's no one to come rescue you," the men in black warned and left. ----- Damian entered the living room and went upstairs to his bedroom. He ignored his father's call, thinking it was related to business or why he had Mr. Max apprehended. Damian recalled the sight of Alicia Dawson. He had seen her before during his visit to the town's hospital. He wanted her and knew of her relationship. He decided to use her father as a tool to get her. "There's no way the Dawson family will be able to raise such a huge amount of money," Damian said, smiling as he went through his bath. Entering his bathroom, Damian stripped off his black gloves, shirt, and trousers and prepared for his bath. After he was done, he came out of the bathroom and dressed in sleeping wear. His phone rang, and he took it from the shelf to see who was calling. "Boss, should I arrange for some ladies for you tonight?" Jeff Brody asked. Damian was in no mood for any women. "No. Contact the Dawson family and let them know about my offer," he said. "What offer, boss? We just left their mansion not long ago," Jeff replied, confused. "I know. Let them know that I offer to have Alicia Dawson as my bride in exchange for her father's release. Failure to show up tomorrow will result in her father being punished." "Oh!" Jeff gasped. "Is that all, boss?" he asked, and Damian replied, "Yes. Send the proposal to Mrs. Dawson tonight. I expect to see Alicia first thing tomorrow morning." "Alright, boss. I'm on it," Jeff ended the call and proceeded to contact Mrs. Dawson. Meanwhile, Damian smirked, anticipating Alicia's reaction the following day. He went back to his home office to get busy with other deals that needed his attention. ----- In Alicia's home, her mother came out of the room after her failed attempt to reach her brother on the call. "Mom, what are we going to do to get Dad out of the T-Group's grasp? We can't wait for Dad's brother to help us, and I don't know if Jonathan will be able to help us," Alicia spoke to her mother, standing in the living room. Mrs. Jennifer sighed and took a seat on the couch. "I don't know, Alicia. But you shouldn't tell your boyfriend any more about your father. We can't trust those police officers, even if he is your boyfriend. They shouldn't publicize us on the news. Tell him you don't know anything about your father's job." "But Mom, Jonathan is only trying to help us. Why not tell him what you know about my father?" Alicia said, but her mother's eyes narrowed at her. "No, Alicia! You shouldn't dare to trade love over your family. Your father's life is in danger, and you think getting the police involved will help us. What will happen after your father gets his release, and they find something off? The police will come after him for fraud or anything else they want to use to arrest him. So no!" Mrs. Jennifer looked serious, and Alicia swallowed hard. "So what do you plan to do now, Mom?" Alicia asked, while Samantha sighed and said, "Mom, I don't know who to turn to for such a huge amount of money. I can only manage to pay 1 million dollars. The remaining 9 million dollars is beyond my limit. Why not ask Damian Tucker if he can accept another offer." "Another offer like what?" Mrs. Jennifer and Caden asked Samantha. She shrugged, blushed, and told her mother, "To become Damian's woman." "What?" They gasped. Their eyes widened in shock. "You're crazy, Samantha! How dare you think of offering your body to that lunatic!" Caden charged forward to smack his younger sister, but his mother interrupted him. "Don't you dare hit your sister, Caden. What can you do to help your father? You are a lawyer, yet you couldn't do anything to challenge Damian! One kick of his boot sent you flying away, and now you dare to raise your hand on Samantha. Don't forget that your father's life is in danger." "But Mom..." Caden tried to speak, but his mother cut him off. "I don't want to hear it. Samantha is right, and we should think of how to contact Damian and offer the proposal to him. Samantha is very beautiful and a top model in the country, so Damian will consider her proposal." "And what if Damian rejects Samantha's officer? You know his record with multiple women. What if he is a carrier of any disease? Haven't you thought about the dangers of having Samantha become his woman? A man who engages in multiple relationships and is a Mafia kingpin," Caden showed his disgust, his expression stern. Lady Jennifer shook her head and replied, "I cannot sit back and watch your father get killed. The government won't be able to do anything to help him. Damian is a feared lord in this part of the state, and the best we can do is make our proposal and try our luck so that he doesn't kill your father over his debt. Besides, you benefited from it. You went to the highest law school because of your father." "But I never asked Dad to engage with Damian," Caden replied, and his mother frowned. "You are an ingrate, and I wish I had a son who is smarter than you." Caden frowned, unable to rebel against his mother. Just then, her phone rang, and she took it to see who the caller was. "Who's calling you, Mom?" they asked her. "I don't know. Let me find out," Lady Jennifer replied and answered the call. "Hello, who am I speaking with?"
