Chapter 7: The Masquerade Aria put on a mask of cooperation, nodding along as Ethan outlined his plan. She played the part of the dutiful fiancée, all the while gathering intel on his true intentions. Ethan, convinced of his own superiority, revealed more than he intended. Aria learned about his secret meetings with high-ranking officials, his manipulation of the rebellion's movements, and his ultimate goal: to become the new leader of Elyria. As they parted ways, Aria's mind raced. She had to warn the rebellion, but she needed concrete evidence to convince them of Ethan's betrayal. That night, Aria snuck into Ethan's quarters, searching for documents or recordings that could incriminate him. She found a hidden folder on his comms device, containing a shocking revelation: Ethan was working with an unknown entity, one that had infiltrated the rebellion and was manipulating events from the shadows Chapter 8: The Traitor's Gambit Aria stormed into Ethan's quarters, the evidence burning a hole in her pocket. "Who is it, Ethan? Who's pulling your strings?" Ethan's smirk faltered for a moment before he regained his composure. "I don't know what you're talking about, Aria." Aria tossed the comms device onto the table, the screen displaying the incriminating messages. "Don't lie to me, Ethan. I know about your secret ally. Who is it?" Ethan's eyes narrowed, his voice dripping with venom. "You're just a pawn, Aria. A pawn in a much larger game. And pawns are meant to be sacrificed." Suddenly, the door slid open, and a figure emerged from the shadows. Aria's heart skipped a beat as she faced the unknown entity: Lena, the rebellion's leader, stood before her, a sly smile spreading across her face. Chapter 9: The Double Agent Aria's mind raced as she processed Lena's betrayal. But instead of attacking or confronting, she decided to play a dangerous game. "Lena, I should have known," Aria said, a hint of a smile on her face. "You're the one who's been manipulating the rebellion from the start." Lena's smile grew wider. "Aria, you're smarter than I thought. Yes, I've been playing both sides. And now, with Ethan's help, we can control the outcome of this revolution." Aria nodded, pretending to agree. "I see. And what's my role in this plan?" Lena's eyes gleamed with excitement. "You, Aria, will be the rebellion's new leader. With your face and my guidance, we'll crush the opposition and rule Elyria together." Aria's heart burned with anger, but she kept her cool, playing the part of the willing pawn. She knew she had to gather more information, wait for the perfect moment to strike. As she left Lena's quarters, Aria sent a secret message to Kael, her true ally. "The rebellion's been infiltrated. Meet me at the old windmill at midnight. Come alone."
