I slowly opened my eyes, disoriented for a moment. I was in Klara's room, I must have fallen asleep here, while checking up on her and Kia. As I turned I was met with a sight that took my breath away.
I rolled my eyes and turned back to my previous direction, but couldn't help but take a look again. Kia was sleeping beside me, his face peaceful and relaxed, the bridge of our nose almost touching. The morning sunlight streaming through the window highlighted his chiseled features, and I couldn't help but stare.
His dark hair was missed, and his eyelashes cast a shadow on his cheeks. His lips, slightly parted, seemed to invite me to lean in.
My heart skipped a beat as I gazed at him. I had forgotten how beautiful he was.
