Everyone immediately stood up upon seeing Kia. I wasn't expecting him to be here today. This Kai, what was he doing here?
After a quick thinking I immediately remembered I told him Fiona was coming here today. Maybe it's because of that he came. After a little buzzing around everyone settled down and went into discussing again.
“Why are you here Kia?” she asked.
“I came here….,” he went silent after sometime as if remembering something. “Nothing I came here to check on Carlotta, I am surprised to see you here.”
“You really didn't have to come,” I said to Kia.
“Came here to ensure you're safe and doing okay,” he said with a smirk.
