CARLOTTA As I and Klara arrived at the school, we were greeted by the excited chatter of the other mothers and children. The bus that would be taking us on our trip was parked in the school parking lot, and the mothers were all gathered around it, chatting and laughing. I smiled as I and Klara made our way through the crowd, exchanging greetings and hellos with the other mothers. As we boarded the bus, I noticed that the other mothers were all eyeing me with interest, and I realized that I must have made a good impression.
