Immediately, I got to the office, I saw Sara already seated, waiting for me to come in.
“You're here so early,” I said with a smile.
“You have important things to do,” she replied.
“Yeah, that's right.”
“So, I was thinking,you should call Emily, I mean, you both should talk things out, let's see if she would drop the rumors.”
“That's a nice idea Sara, give me a moment.”
I dialed Emily’s number for a long time, but no response, I gave up trying to call her and focused on other things.
While i was gathering some documents I received a text from the unknown number saying
“Don't bother to call, it isn't worth it. She won't be picking up your calls.”
“I want to speak to Emily,” I replied back to the text.
“For now, you won't be able to reach her.”
